Denver’s Election Division says some envelopes have the municipal runoff election date of June 2. The erroneous date has no effect on voter’s ballots, but they must be returned by 7 p.m. on Tuesday, May 5 in order to count.
The division says a contractor printed the envelopes in error and will be held responsible. The ballot itself and the voter instructions all contain the correct election date.
