Another month of record-breaking Denver home sale numbers

The monthly S&P/Case-Shiller Home Prices Index reports the average resale price of single-family homes rose 10 percent in February, from a year earlier, in the Denver metro. That was double the rate of increase for the other 19 cities. And it was the second straight month the Denver market ranked No. 1. The index for Denver also reached another all-time high: The average price last month was about 60 percent higher than in 2000
