Watch: Cellist Zuill Bailey plays Bruch’s ‘Kol Nidrei’ in the CPR Performance Studio

Bruch wrote the piece in 1881 for cello and orchestra, incorporating several Hebrew melodies into the music.

In this video, Boulder Philharmonic Music Director Michael Butterman accompanies Bailey in the arrangement for cello and piano.

Bailey -- who recently recorded Nico Muhly’s Cello Concerto -- performed with the Boulder Phil in April, playing Antonin Dvorak’s Cello Concerto at Macky Auditorium.
