As Eldora Expansion Decision Looms, Opponents Fear Approval

Environmental activists say they believe the U.S. Forest Service will approve the Eldora Mountain ski area expansion despite their complaints against it.

The Boulder Daily Camera reports that opponents of the expansion received a letter from Acting Deputy Regional Forester Daniel McCusker and other Forest Service staff July 30 in response to objections made by Boulder County commissioners, the Middle Boulder Creek Coalition, Colorado Parks and Wildlife and others.
