About 60 students at Denver's Auraria Campus rallied in support of University of Missouri protestors Thursday. The MU president resigned earlier this week following a student hunger strike and a threatened boycott by some members of the school football team

Renee Davis, a senior at the University of Colorado-Denver, helped organize the Auraria rally.

"We stand in solidarity with Mizzou in their desire to hire more diverse faculty, more faculty of color, to provide more student services for students who are underrepresented," she said.

Campus administrators joined the rally. It later combined with a separate action demanding student debt relief.
