UCHealth Plans Highlands Ranch Hospital For Booming Population Center

UCHealth says it's going to build a new six-story, $315 million hospital in Highlands Ranch that will offer both inpatient and outpatient services to a nearby population that's expected to grow by more than 25 percent in the next decade.

Spokesman Dan Weaver said the UCHealth Highlands Ranch Hospital is projected to open in 2018. Construction is expected to generate at least 500 jobs. Once complete, the hospital will employ about 400 health care workers.
