This curious gray jay landed in a tree right above me as I was about to enjoy my lunch while hiking one afternoon in the mountains.

So much about national parks appeals to the eyes. The elk at Rocky Mountain National Park. The geysers at Yellowstone. The cliffs at Yosemite.
