The Widow's Bane recently wrote the score to "Wicked Bayou," a new production from Denver dance troupe Wonderbound. Led by Clay Rose of Boulder band Gasoline Lollipops, the band visited our studio in full costume for a preview of the show.

More from OpenAir Sessions:

The Widow's Bane played three songs from "Wicked Bayou." Rose, while in character as Mortimer Leech, spoke with Alisha Sweeney about how he wrote music for Wonderbound's dancers and the band's upcoming Halloween show at Washington's in Fort Collins.

Stream the session and watch The Widow's Bane perform "Don't Be Afraid It's Only Death" above. Watch more videos on our YouTube page.

Songs performed:

  • "Don't Be Afraid It's Only Death"
  • "The Wedding Song"
