Missing Las Vegas Hiker Found Dead In Rocky Mountain National Park

Searchers have found what are thought to be the remains of a 20-year-old Las Vegas man who went missing in November while climbing Rocky Mountain National Park's highest peak.

Private searchers on Thursday found items believed to have belonged to Micah Tice, and the park's search and rescue team found the human remains Friday.

Tice, who attended the Air Force Academy preparatory school in Colorado Springs, was last seen Nov. 24 on the Longs Peak trail. Two hikers who saw him say they warned him not to try to climb the 14,259-foot mountain because of blizzard conditions and because he wasn't wearing the proper clothing or shoes.

Rangers found the body of a missing New Jersey man in May and are still looking for a missing hiker from Tennessee.
