  • KRCC’s signal in Colorado Springs has gone down as of about 9:10am 5/14/15.  We’re uncertain of the cause.  Our engineer is rushing to correct the problem.  Thanks for your patience.   • News came in earlier today that KRCC’s array of mountain translators are back on the air thanks to the efforts of KRCC’s intrepid Chief Engineer Joel Belik and Westcliffe’s KWMV’s Bob Thomason–who Joel declared was just along for the adventure.

  • Translator listeners: Our Westcliffe translator has failed. We have been able to rent a vehicle that will enable us to reach the translator site and repair it on Friday. Westcliffe feeds translators in many of our mountain communities, including Westcliffe/Gardner, Lake George, Cañon City, Salida and Buena Vista.

  • Listeners who tune-in to KRCC in the Badger Mountain area on 95.5FM can rejoice.  KRCC heard from our Chief Engineer Joel Belik around 4 p.m. 4/6/15 that he was able to repair the translator and that KRCC is back on the air at 95.5FM!

  • Colorado State University-Pueblo is providing emergency shelter for its employees and Colorado Springs residents who have been evacuated from their homes. It will open its Greenhorn Residence Hall beginning tomorrow, June 28 at 7 a.m. until Thursday, July 5 at 4 p.m. There will be approximately 200 beds available.
