Colorado College Summer Music Festival: Faculty Artists Concert

"The Colorado College Summer Music Festival presents a Faculty Artists Concert featuring our professional musician Festival faculty performing a wide array of chamber music. The June 22 concert opens with Duruflé’s Prélude, Récitatif et Variations performed by Elizabeth Mann, flute; Toby Appel, viola; John Novacek, piano, followed by Simon’s 'be still and know', performed by Stefan Hersh, violin; Bion Tsang, cello; Susan Grace, piano. The program continues with two pieces by Ruth Gibbs, Seaweed Song and Threnody, performed by Alice Dade, flute, Ellen dePasquale, violin, and Grace. Closing the concert is Schubert’s Octet in F Major, with Stephen Rose, violin; Steven Copes, violin; Toby Appel, viola; Tsang; Susan Cahill, bass; Laura Ardan, clarinet; Michael Kroth, bassoon; Michael Thornton, horn."
