Jefferson Symphony Orchestra: Season 70 Finale: Katsarelis conducts Beethoven
When
Event Description
"Beethoven considered the Seventh Symphony a 'most excellent symphony.' The slow movement, perhaps the most enthralling, has had a profound impression on listeners from the beginning — it's simply irresistible! The JSO presents its 70th Anniversary Season Finale Concert led by Colorado conductor Cynthia Katsarelis with violinist Alex Gonzalez. Gonzalez is a member of The Knights, having performed with the ensemble in a variety of roles—soloist, chamber musician, principal, and for recordings and international tours. He is also a longtime member of the Sphinx Virtuosi, touring extensively with the ensemble and regularly serving as rotating principal and concertmaster."
ARTURO MARQUEZ: Conga del Fuego Nuevo
BRAHMS: Violin Concerto
