Plant Sale

Are you planning your summer garden, looking for flowers to plant in your mother’s garden, or maybe for inside your home? SHED is happy to announce the date of our annual plant sale.
Consider joining us at the Colorado State Fairgrounds in Pueblo, Colorado on Saturday May 11th, 2024, from 9 am until 2 pm in the Fine Arts building.
We are a local non-profit organization that stands for Supporting Horticulture EDucation (SHED).
Horticulture is the art of garden cultivation and management. Every year SHED has a plant sale to help people with the opportunity to come to one place to buy plants. We plan our sale for the Saturday before Mother’s Day. Here in Colorado, this is considered a safe time after our last freeze. We will be offering Natives, annuals, perennials, vegetables, and more. This sale benefits our community by supporting local/private nurseries and offers the opportunity to potentially buy plants at a lower cost.
This year anyone can leave us their email address and zip code. We will use this information to send out an optional survey to help us improve future sales. The proceeds of this sale: supports apprentice Colorado Master Gardener’s with grants to start the program, scholarships/grants to attend horticulture related educational events and for building our horticulture community. Anyone interested in horticulture is welcome to join SHED, dues are $10 annually, sign up at Puebloshed.org.
