Volunteer Opportunities at the Colorado Railroad Museum – Learn How to Get Involved
When
Event Description
All aboard for adventure! The Colorado Railroad Museum is looking for enthusiastic volunteers to join our team—and there’s no better way to get started than by attending our Volunteer Fair on Saturday, August 16, from 10 a.m. to 2 p.m. We rely on dedicated volunteers to support train operations, education programs, and special events.
Volunteering here means being part of something truly magical! Whether you're helping bring big events like Day Out With Thomas™—a family favorite filled with train rides, games, and photo ops—or creating holiday magic during THE POLAR EXPRESS™ Train Ride with caroling, hot chocolate, and a visit from Santa, volunteers play a key role in making it all happen.. Volunteers also support exhibits, lead interpretive stations, run simulators and demos, and inspire young minds during school tours.
No prior railroad experience is necessary. Volunteers receive orientation and on-the-job training and must be at least 18 years old. We're looking for friendly, outgoing individuals who enjoy working with the public and are committed to safety and community.
Join us at the Volunteer Fair to learn more, meet our team, and take the first step in your Colorado Railroad Museum journey!
