WW5 Woodwind Quintet: Winter Concert

"WW5 continues our first concert season at the new Wheat Ridge Center for Music and Arts with a varied program including classics and some Colorado connections. Eric Ewazen's Roaring Fork was inspired by Colorado's mountain landscapes - in particular, the area around Aspen and Snowmass. The quintet will also present the suite from Stravinsky's lively and dramatic Pulcinella. WW5 is a new woodwind quintet with a dynamic and colorful sound. The group’s five members are all accomplished musicians with the skill and passion to create stunning performances. Together, they achieve an amazing range of sounds, from soft sighs to thrilling runs, as the instruments recombine to give new color and shading to each melody."
