For 28 years, Ed Quillen wrote columns for the Denver Post. They often made you laugh, and they always made you think. He focused his self-deprecating yet incisive wit on a wide range of topics - from politics to Thanksgiving turkeys.
Quillen’s longtime friend and colleague, journalist Allen Best, says Quillen perfected the art of the regular column. When Ed Quillen died last year, he left behind a huge archive of work - including thousands of Denver Post columns. His daughter, Abby, selected 120 of his columns from the later part of his career for the new anthology, “Deeper Into the Heart of the Rockies.”
