Back in glory days of late 60s and early 70s rock 'n' roll, Colorado crowds crashed through gates. They stormed stages. They clashed with police.
As the Denver concert promoter Barry Fey watched things get out of hand, he put together a security team. Jerry McKim was on it -- and never thought he'd find himself touring with the Rolling Stones or Alice Cooper's. Denver photographer Dan Fong was there, too, and got loads of rare pictures of The Who on tour and icons who called Colorado home, like Joe Walsh. Those photos are now on display at the Robert Anderson Gallery in Denver's Cherry Creek. McKim and Fong joined Colorado Matters spoke with host Nathan Heffel about their experiences.
