NPR’s Margot Adler and the ‘Conference on Everything Conceivable’

Listen Now

The Conference on World Affairs begins Monday at CU Boulder. This is its 65th year. Film critic Roger Ebert, who died Thursday, once called it “the conference on everything conceivable.” One look at this year’s schedule explains why. There are panel discussions on climate change, the United Nations, veganism, and one with the provocative title, “My Most Disturbing Thought.” That one -- and many others -- will feature NPR correspondent Margot Adler. She’s been a regular at the conference since 1978, and she’ll be back again next week. She talks to Ryan Warner.
