The town of Ouray, in southwest Colorado, got some disturbing news this summer. Folks with more senior water rights were putting a “call” on some of the city’s water. This would be troubling for any community, but keep in mind that one of the big tourist draws for Ouray is its Hot Springs Pool. CPR’s Zachary Barr talks with city administrator Patrick Rondinelli about what happened, and how the hamlet (population 1000) is keeping taps flowing.
