A car race of clunkers takes place this weekend in Byers, a small town an hour east of Denver. It's home to the High Plains Raceway. No car in the race can cost more than 500 dollars. Hilllary Koerner has chosen to drive a 1991 VW Jetta, which, she says, starts to show its age at high speeds. "When you're driving down the track, and you're on the straightaway, you're about 80 miles an hour and the steering wheel starts to shake." This weekend's event is called 24 Hours of LeMons, a pun on the French car race, 24 Hours of LeMans. Ryan Warner speaks with Hillary from the car dealership where she works in Englewood.
