King Soopers stores may be especially short-staffed right now. On Wednesday, thousands of grocery workers in the greater Denver area went on strike. The group includes baggers, checkers, stockers, butchers, pharmacy technicians and more. It’s the first grocery worker strike in Colorado since the late 90’s and it could last up to three weeks.
