The Gazette's model for citizen journalism has seen some changes in recent weeks, most notably its migration to Fresh Ink, and to the main paper's A section on Tuesdays. As a result, this week we're revisiting the first ever "Citizen Report." It's a conversation between Fresh Ink editor Tim Bergsten, Fresh Ink reporter Travis Duncan, and myself, talking about the meaning of this collaboration. Though edited for content, the integrity and message of the conversation remains. It begins with Travis talking about the very nature of citizen journalism.
(The "Citizen Report" is a collaboration between the Colorado Springs Gazette and KRCC.)
