Songwriter and vocalist Peter Yarrow is perhaps most well-known for being one third of the popular folk music trio, Peter, Paul, & Mary. Born in New York City, Yarrow earned a degree in psychology from Cornell University, and in 1961, he teamed up with Mary Travers and Noel Paul Stookey to become one of the world’s most beloved folk trios. KRCC's Ellen Mahoney recently caught up with Yarrow in Fort Collins to talk with him about his newest project, a children’s book titled Day is Done, the passing of Mary Travers, and his non-profit organization called "Operation Respect." Ellen files this sound montage of thoughts, music, and musings from Peter Yarrow.
