Ramadan Dispute at Greeley Plant Exposes Deeper Issues
It's currently Ramadan, the month-long holiday that makes up one of the five pillars of Islam.For most Muslims, it's a time of fasting and celebration.But in Greeley, more than a hundred East African refugees are still waiting to find out what will happen to them, after being fired over the right to pray during work at the Swift meatpacking plant. KCFR's Megan Verlee reports on the dispute and the community's response.
