In Colorado Springs, the Gazette is reporting that councilman Tom Gallagher says the police department is retaliating for his stance on pay cuts to help solve the city's budget woes. The Colorado Springs Business Journal reports that workplace deaths in the state have decreased.

KOAA reports that lawmakers are trying to stop the sale of a state-run nursing home in Trinidad. A report from KKTV takes a look at lockdown exercises in Pueblo School District 60. And, the Pueblo Chieftain says a new police substation is set to open on the city's east side.
