In Colorado Springs, the Air Force Academy has announced plans for an indoor athletic facility are close to moving forward, thanks to a donation (Gazette, KOAA). Colorado Springs, Aurora, and Eagle County have reached an agreement in a long-standing water dispute (Colorado Springs Business Journal).
In Pueblo, Senator Mark Udall (D) met with those in healthcare at the Pueblo City-County Health Department (KKTV). Great Outdoors Colorado announced grants for projects throughout the state, but as the Chieftain reports, none are in Southeastern Colorado. High winds caused the collapse of part of an apartment building under construction (Chieftain), and Pinon Canyon hires more firefighters (Chieftain).
In LaJunta, the school board there has voted to close its intermediate school (Chieftain).
