John Stulp has hit the ground running. He became the state's new commissioner of agriculture as farmers and ranchers on the Eastern Plains began digging out from two big blizzards. The 58-year-old Stulp, a rancher himself, is part of an administration that’s calling for the state to become a leader in biofuels and wind energy, things that are also on the minds of rural Colorado. John Stulp is one of the only members of Governor Bill Ritter's cabinet who's not from the Denver area. He speaks with Ryan Warner.
