The cost of living in Aspen is three times the national average. For a long time, that's meant people who work there have either had to compete for the community's limited affordable housing or have opted to live somewhere else. In the first of a three-part series, Ryan Warner talks to Debbie Braun, president of the Aspen Chamber Resort Association, Jim Laing, vice president for human resources at the Aspen Skiing Company, and Joe DiSalvo, undersheriff for Pitkin County.
