CO Budget Clears House

The state budget is close to reaching the Governor's desk. Seventeen house Democrats joined Republicans today to pass the annual budget bill. It followed nearly 12 hours of debate, with Democrats offering dozens of amendments to try and reduce the cuts. Republicans praise the budget as responsible and had already reached a compromise with Governor John Hickenlooper and the Democratic senate president. Bente Birkeland has more from the state capitol.
