In 1927, in Germany, the great Austrian-born filmmaker Fritz Lang made a film called “Metropolis.” Over the years, it’s become a science-fiction classic and a cult film, and the most-restored film ever. Now, says Colorado Public Radio film critic Howie Movshovitz says the latest restoration has added a full 24 minutes – all of them crucial.
