Colorado State University-Pueblo has a new president. The Colorado State University System Board of Governors chose Lesley Di Mare this morning in a unanimous vote. Currently, Di Mare is interim president and CEO of Nevada State College. Dr. Julio Leon has served as interim president of CSU-Pueblo since November of last year, when then president Joe Garcia was elected Colorado’s lieutenant governor. According to a release from the CSU System, Di Mare is slated to become the first permanent woman president in the school’s history.
