Governor John Hickenlooper is backing off plans to privatize the state chartered worker’s compensation agency...A Colorado House committee expected to take on a proposal aimed at trans fats in schools has delayed discussion without explanation...and, a major winter storm is spreading across Colorado, bringing warnings of heavy snow across the state and blizzards on the Eastern Plains. The Colorado Department of Transportation is urging motorists to travel with winter safety kits, which include a crank or battery powered radio, a survival blanket or sleeping bag, and extra food and water.
