The U.S. Postal Service is closing four mail processing centers in Colorado as part of a broader plan to consolidate or close facilities around the country, including centers in Colorado Springs, Alamosa, and Salida...Governor John Hickenlooper says he’s sympathetic to the legislature’s plans to give more money to rural lawmakers who have to stay in Denver during the legislative session, but says state lawmakers will have to make the ultimate decision...Colorado Parks and Wildlife will be hosting a hunting seminar this weekend in Lamar as part of the tenth annual High Plains Snow Goose Festival...and, the western tiger salamander is closer to being named Colorado's official state amphibian.
