Round-Up: Gov. Hickenlooper responds to shooting; Possible delay in evac notices during Waldo Canyon fire

Authorities have started to remove the bodies of 10 people killed early this morning at a movie theater in Aurora. Two others died at the hospital and another 59 were wounded. Police say victims are still being identified and not all the families have been notified. Meanwhile, Governor John Hickenlooper says no words can express the broken hearts over the senseless mass shooting....


In other news, radio traffic reviewed by the Denver Post shows a delay in ordering evacuations in Colorado Springs during the Waldo Canyon fire. As a result, the paper says some residents were still in their homes as houses began to ignite. The city has released a statement saying Mayor Steve Bach reiterates that city officials worked as quickly as possible to aid and assist residents. The city still plans to conduct a review of the events and actions taken.
