Colorado’s Secretary of State is planning to hold public meetings along the Front Range this week. As KRCC's Liz Ruskin reports, he’s seeking feedback on last month’s general election.

Colorado Springs and Pueblo are included in Scott Gessler’s scheduled forums. He’s calling the series an "Election Integrity Listening Tour." Spokesman Andrew Cole says Gessler wants to hear how the voting process went, from the citizens’ perspective.

"By many measure we think the election was a success, but there’s always room to improve. And as the chief election officer in the state he wants to get feedback from folks and hear what they might do different or what they’d like to see in elections going forward."

Gessler’s own integrity made headlines the day before the election, when the Colorado Independent Ethics Commission voted to investigate claims that he misused state funds, which he denies.

The meeting in Pueblo is set for 10:30 Thursday at the CSU-Pueblo library. The Colorado Springs meeting is scheduled for Thursday at 2 at the El Paso County Clerk’s Office.
