Colorado added 2,200 jobs last month, bringing the state’s unemployment rate to 6.2 percent.
Last year began with the state’s jobless rate above 7 percent.
"You know all in all, 2013 looks like a good year for Colorado," Department of Labor Chief Economist Alexandra Hall said on Tuesday.
Hall says the year-long drop in unemployment was fairly consistent across the state.
The biggest job gains last month were in professional and business services, and the leisure and hospitality industry.
