This Thursday, hear saxophonist Branford Marsalis play Glazunov’s Saxophone Concerto, recorded at last season’s opening concert.

Here are a handful of the upcoming highlights:

  • Nov. 1: Mozart: Symphony No. 36, "Paris"
  • Dec. 18: Dvorak: Cello Concerto featuring Colorado Symphony principal cellist Silver Ainomae
  • Jan. 8: Rachmaninoff: Symphony No. 2
  • Feb. 26: Britten: Piano Concerto No. 1 featuring pianist William Wolfram

The Thursday encore broadcasts continue through May and complement our new season of live Colorado Symphony broadcasts, which start Friday with Gil Shaham playing Brahms’ Violin Concerto.
