Remains Uncovered During 1974 Dig Headed To Native Tribes

June 18, 2015

Human remains misidentified as animal by University of Northern Colorado archaeology students in 1974 will be returned to their native tribes next month.

The Greeley Tribune reports employees at Colorado's historical society, known as History Colorado, took a second look at the bones almost 40 years after the dig and found they were actually human.
