Crews Repairing Boulder Sinkhole That Swallowed Car

Crews are working to repair a sinkhole that opened up on a Boulder street, swallowing a car.

The Daily Camera reports that a water main break flooded Iris Avenue on Sunday and created a sinkhole about six feet deep.

A woman driving a Honda Civic down the street drove through what appeared to be a few inches of water. Her front tires dipped into a hole, stopping the car. She got out with the help of some good Samaritans before the car sank and filled with water. She wasn't injured.
