Hiker’s Body Found In Eldorado Canyon

A Boulder sheriff's official says searchers found the body of a hiker who had been missing for five days in Eldorado Canyon State Park.

Cmdr. Heidi Prentup told The Daily Camera that rescue teams found the body of 53-year-old David Robles at about 12:20 p.m. Wednesday. Prentup says there are no signs of foul play and that investigators are looking into the possibility that Robles fell to his death.

Robles was reported missing after failing to return from a hike on Saturday. He was last heard from in the afternoon.

His car was found at the park but previous searches didn't turn up any sign of Robles. He is from Westminster and works at the University of Colorado Foundation.
