Cripple Creek Casino Will Be Sold To Las Vegas Company

Gaming is big business in Cripple Creek, and now a $30-million deal is in the works to buy one of the most prominent casinos there.

Las Vegas-based Full House Resorts is planning to buy Bronco Billy's Casino and Hotel, which is one of the last of the original casinos in Cripple Creek that is still locally owned.

According to KOAA-TV, other local casinos closed down or were bought out by bigger companies because they struggled to navigate the gaming regulations and fines.

Full House Resort president Daniel Lee says he expects the management team to continue working at the casino.

Full House is expected to complete the purchase in the next four to six months.
