Peak Radar Minute:Colorado Springs Area Events For March 7 – 13

  • Beginning tomorrow, and running through the end of the month, the Simpich Showcase Theatre in Old Colorado City will open a new production celebrating the Fables of Aesop with hand puppets and life-sized animal marionettes.
  • Also beginning tomorrow, the Colorado Springs Fine Arts Center at Colorado College will present “Ben and the Magic Paintbrush” an enchanting, modern-day fairy tale for ages 6 and up.
  • This coming Wednesday at 6:30 p.m., the Pikes Peak Blues Community will host their Quarterly Blues Jam at Stargazers Theater and Event Center.
  • Public voting for the 2019 Peak Arts Prize finalists is now open online at PeakArtsPrize.org. Your vote will help determine how $15,000 in funding is distributed to local artists and arts organizations. Public voting at ends on March 15, 2019.
