Louisiana bluesman Tab Benoit will be headlining this year's Blues Under the Bridge Festival on Saturday, July 13th, and your chance to win tickets is this Saturday evening between 7 and 8 p.m. during the Blue Plate Special on 91.5 KRCC.
Supporting acts include the rockabilly blues of Nikki Hill, soulful electric blues from Alligator recording artist Selwyn Birchwood, guitar virtuoso Hector Anchondo, and local talents Crystal and the Curious.
This outdoor festival is held under the canopy of the Colorado Avenue Bridge in downtown Colorado Springs, and features a mulitude of food venders, beer, wine and artisans. Now in it's 13th year, Blues Under the Bridge has showcased such legendary performers such as Koko Taylor, the Holmes Brothers, Charlie Musselwhite, the Fabulous Thunderbirds, the Blind Boys of Alabama, Los Lobos, Robert Belfour and Bettye LaVette to name just a few.
Tickets are on sale now through Eventbrite, and KRCC members can get a $10 discount per ticket with their member code.
