2019 was Big Thief's year. The quartet took the indie rock world by storm, releasing two excellent albums, "U.F.O.F." and "Two Hands." Both albums are popping up on critics' "best of 2019" lists as well as some of our own at Indie 102.3.
The four members of Big Thief recently played songs from their new albums at The Bunker Studios in Brooklyn, New York. Indie 102.3 program director Willobee Carlan stopped by to chat about the band's origin story in New York City, balancing their hectic touring and recording schedule, and writing "U.F.O.F." standout "Cattails" in just one day.
