Coloradans will be required to wear a facial covering while in public settings until at least November. The order, which was set to expire on Oct. 12, will be extended for another 30 days by Gov. Jared Polis.
According to data from the Colorado health department, coronavirus hospitalizations are on the rise. Polis says people are likely experiencing coronavirus fatigue but they can't let up on precautionary measures like mask-wearing.
"This is the most concerning recent data in the last few weeks that we've had since early July," the governor said.
