Much like you, we're eager to return to the concert hall, especially with the amazing line-up of astonishing artists, virtuoso musicians and champion performances that take place in Colorado. And we want you to be there! The Great Fall Ticket Giveaway is your chance to win a pair of tickets for this season’s hottest performances. Each week (and sometimes twice a week), CPR Classical will have a pair of tickets to give away to one lucky winner. Check back frequently for new ticket giveaways and your opportunity to see the best in live performances this year.

Broomfield Symphony: Beethoven & Elgar -- Saturday, October 23, 7:30 p.m.

Broomfield Symphony invites world-acclaimed cellist and UNC pedagogue, Gal Faganel, to their stage for a season opener.

Giveaway #8 runs Monday, 10/18 through Tuesday, 10/19 at 5pm.

The opening concert of Broomfield Symphony's 2021/2022 season features Beethoven's Symphony No. 5, Leonore Overture No. 3, and Elgar's Cello Concerto with international soloist Gal Faganel, all conducted by Broomfield Symphony Music Director David Brussel. As a performer, Faganel is frequently heard in recital, in chamber music concerts, and as a soloist with orchestras throughout North America and Europe.

Denver-born pianist Katie Mahan joins the LSO this Friday and performs Gershwin and Mozart.

The first concert from Littleton Symphony Orchestra's 2021/2022 season begins with an exhilarating, jazz-inspired favorite, Gershwin's Rhapsody in Blue with Katie Mahan, piano. Program also includes Beethoven's Egmont Overture, Borodin's Polovtsian Dances, and an encore from Katie Mahan performing the "Adagio" from Mozart's Piano Concerto #23.

The ballet shares the story of young Giselle, a peasant girl whose spirit, after her premature death, protects her lover from a vengeful group of evil ghosts. The stunningly skilled athletes of Colorado Ballet bring the beauty and heartbreak of Giselle to the stage. Music composed by Adolphe Adam, story based on Heinrich Heine's "De l'Allemagne" and Victor Hugo's "Fantômes."

Lone Tree Symphony Orchestra is a first-class community orchestra performing orchestral music in the city of Lone Tree and South Metro Denver. The LTSO begins their 2021-2022 season with Antonin Dvořák's Symphony No. 9, From the New World, musically referencing our country during the composer's time as Director of New York City's National Conservatory of Music of America. Also enjoy Schubert's Rosamunde Overture, selections from South Pacific, and more!

St. Martin's Chamber Choir: Brahms' German Requiem -- Sunday, September 26, 3:00 p.m.

Giveaway #3 runs Wednesday 9/22 through Thursday 9/23 at 5pm. In anticipation of the return to a world of live performances and in-person audiences, and to honor those lost during the pandemic, St. Martin’s Chamber Choir and Festival Singers perform the powerful and beloved German Requiem by Johannes Brahms, along with other works of remembrance and loss. Pianists Jooeun Pak and Nan Shannon accompany the choir in Brahms’ own 4-hand piano arrangement of the Requiem.

Violinist Tessa Lark joins the Friends of Chamber Music for their season premiere.

Her success has been acknowledged with a Lincoln Center Award for Emerging Artists, Grammy nominations in the Best Classical Instrumental Solo category, and the Borletti-Buitoni Trust Fellowship. Joining Lark is pianist Andrew Armstrong who has delighted audiences around the world and is praised by critics for his passionate expression and dazzling technique. Tessa plays a ca. 1600 G.P. Maggini violin on loan through the Stradivari Society of Chicago. Program includes "Jig and Pop" by Tessa Lark, Beethoven's Sonata No. 8 for Violin, music by John Corigliano, Maurice Ravel, and more!
