“Let’s Celebrate! is the spirited conclusion of the 2022 Denver Chamber Music Festival, and includes works by Harry Burleigh, Antonin Dvorak, and Felix Mendelssohn. Burleigh introduced Dvorak to Black American music and spirituals, and the two had an important musical relationship in the late 19th century. The program concludes with Mendelssohn’s masterful String Quintet op. 87 in B-flat major."
