Digital Prologue December Double-Header

Our first virtual guest on December 7 is Shanta Thake-- a theatre director and producer who specializes in intersections in the arts. She is well known for being the mind behind Joe’s Pub, the New York City cabaret club that has hosted Adele, Justin Vivian Bond, Bridgett Everett and thousands of the world’s greatest performers. Shanta is now the associate artistic director of the Public Theater and will join us to talk about producing art in unusual times and why she is so optimistic for our future.

On December 14, Digital Prologue welcomes the voice of NPR, Jessica Hansen. And trust us, you know her voice. What’s more, she’s the vocal coach for all of your favorite NPR hosts, and many podcasters around the country. She has performed in television, film, stage, voiceovers, and commercials. Jessica will guide us through the ins and outs of radio and podcasting voice and help us understand good vocal quality and technique. She is a ton of fun, and we are certain that this will be one of your favorite events of the month!
