Great American Cleanup

Looking to get outside this Spring and do a little good? The Great American Cleanup is the perfect activity for you and your family, it's coming up soon on April 15th, 2023, and being hosted by the Fountain Creek Watershed District.

The Keep America Beautiful Great American Cleanup is the nation’s largest community improvement program taking place in more than 15,000 communities each Spring. The Fountain Creek Watershed District will once again host this 1-day cleanup on April 15th, 2023 at 9 am in collaboration with local governments, nonprofits, Friend’s groups, and neighborhoods across the Fountain Creek Watershed. Volunteers will receive bags and gloves to safely work in one of over 20 different cleanup sites from Palmer Lake to Pueblo.

We invite YOU to join us in giving our home watershed a Spring cleaning!  KRCC staff will be meeting at the Monument Valley PickleBall Courts, just south and west of the Fine Arts Center and we'd love for you to join us.  But, there are also plenty of other neighborhood meetups that you can join in on as well....
