Event Description

The Colorado College Department of Music presents Live from Packard Hall, featuring faculty performances, beginning at 3 p.m. Tuesday, Feb. 21.

Admission is free and open to the public.

The concert includes a wide variety of musical selections. I Made Lasmawan, Indonesian music instructor and artistic director of CC’s Gamelan Ensemble, will be joined by special guests from across Colorado to perform Merak Angelo and Rebong. Bluegrass instructor Keith Reed will pair up with fiddler Nate Leath for selections to be announced from the stage. Pianist Susan Grace, CC Music Department associate chair and artist-in-residence, and violinist Yumi Hwang-Williams, concertmaster of the Colorado Symphony, will perform Bolcom’s four-movement Second Sonata.
